Shriram Building: Wired Network Switch Upgrades
Wired network upgrades affecting the Shriram building.
SoE IT has scheduled a network switch upgrades for the end of June 2026.
Dates have been moved in observance of Commencement Freeze.
The upgrade window is 2 PM - 4 PM for each day:
- 6/24 - Basements and first floor
- 6/25 - Basements and first floor
- 6/29 - 2nd Floor
- 6/30 - 3rd floor
SCOPE:
Network switches in the building will be upgraded with new hardware.
IMPACT:
Wired network users may experience a brief loss in connectivity during this window. Wi-Fi will not be affected.
