Installing the uniFLOW Client For OSX (Multiple PTAs)

Alex Keller -

If you are using a non-secure print queue (printing to the Canon MFD directly without the need to login with your badge), you MUST install an additional uniFLOW software client that allows you to choose your PTA from your computer.

Download the uniFLOW Client for OSX:

Open the downloaded DMG and install the package "InstallUniFLOWMacClient.mpkg" selecting all the default installation parameters:

Navigate to Macintosh HD-->Applications-->UniFLOW--> and launch the MacClient:

Find the uniFLOW Mac Client in the Finder tray and set the UniFLOW User and UniFLOW Server parameters:

uniFLOW user: SUNetID (your SUNetID not "SUNetID")

uniFLOW server: seq-uniflow.stanford.edu

Make uniFLOW client start every time the computer is booted:

Finder-->Apple Menu-->System Preferences-->Users & Groups-->Current User-->Login Items-->Select "+"-->Navigate to "Macintosh HD-->Applications-->UniFLOW-->MacClient-->Add.

When you print to the CanonMFD queues you will now be prompted to select a PTA for each print job by clicking the red arrow on the right side of the screen:
