Neal Soderquist -

If you have administrative permissions, you can disable various add-ins in Office applications.

Example: Acrobat PDFMaker Office COM Add-in can often cause problems in Outlook.

To disable this:

  1. Open Outlook (you may need to use Safe Mode, to do this hold CTRL on your keyboard while you launch Outlook)
  2. On the File tab, click Options.
  3. Click Add-Ins.
  4. In the Manage drop-down, select COM Add-Ins, and then click Go.
