How to edit and add publications to your profile

All faculty and staff profiles must now be edited on the Community Academic Profiles (CAP) https://profiles.stanford.edu system adopted by SoE, Dean of Research and others. If you are a faculty member and would like to designate someone else to edit your profile, you will be able to do so via the CAP system. You must log on to use the CAP system. More information about editing your profile in CAP is available in CAP help.

Faculty and staff who have profile pages on http://engieering.stanford.edu can add and edit publications listed and displayed in their profile.  Most of this information is managed and maintained from your Dashboard page when you log in.  To do so, follow steps 1-4 on "How to edit my Engineering Profile"

Once logged, in you should see a dashboard like this: 




1. Scroll down to the "My Publications" section of your dashboard to see a list of publications that are currently associated with your profile. 



2.  To edit an existing publication, click on the "Edit" link to the far right of the publication currently listed and make corrections to the form. 

3.  To create a new publication listing, click on "Add publication", fill in the form and hit "Save" - the publication should be automatically added to your profile.
