MDM - Airwatch failing to register my device

You may see Airwatch registrations fail with message “Safari cannot open too many redirects” message. The MDM team is looking into this but in the mean time, this work around might work to get you successfully registered:

  1. Shutdown iPad/iPhone
  2. Restart iPad/iPhone
  3. Close all Apps (shutdown doesn’t close them)
  4. Erase/Remove Airwatch App
  5. Launch Safari
  6. Close remaining tabs manually
  7. Launch Settings to Clear Cookies and Data from Safari (Settings/Safari/Clear Cookies & data)
  8. Launch Safari
  9. Go to mdm.stanford.edu
  10. Start mdm reg again and re-install Airwatch
  11. Follow the prompts
